BIG TASTES OF TEXAS

One of my favorite art styles is that of classic cowboy illustrations and Southwest art. In May 2019, Big Tastes of Texas premiered with just that style. The six main posters were painted by a local illustrator to mimic the look of old book covers or movie posters. 

My team and I went wild with the theme. We tried everything from puns on classic Western movies, like "Pie Noon," "There will be Blood Orange," and "Showdown in Cayenne," to creating illustrations of fruits grown in Texas that mimicked classic images in vintage dime novels.
