ENCAUSTIC

Encausetic is a medium which I have been interested in since college when, at an art show reception, I spotted a series of works unlike anything I had seen before. The texture and depth achievable in encaustic was exactly what I needed to take a step forward in my art. Only after attending workshops and work days at the Encaustic Center in Richardson, Texas did I manage to start producing encaustic works.
