Keeping with the theme of "HatchSTERIA," most of our signage reflected B-movie horror films with trippy striped backgrounds and halftones. The electric colors really made an impact and the event could be felt through out the store.
My team and I were able to motorize the front lobby sign so that the pepper would spin around as if it were hypnotizing customers. We used a microwave motor so that the pepper wouldn't spin too fast. The whole project took longer to think through than to actually cut out, paint, and assemble.
